Dalí Lives
Client: The Dalí Museum
Agency: Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
DeepFake is an AI face-swapping program that is notorious for celebrity revenge porn and getting presidents to say anything.
We instead used it for a more artistic purpose in bringing Salvador Dalí back to life. In collaboration with The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, we created a new experience in which visitors can personally interact with the surreal artist himself. Dalí personally welcomes you to his museum, even sharing observations on current events and the motivations behind his masterpieces.
Role and Technology
I experimented with and configured the DeepFake tech during prototyping and then led the hardware and electronics development for the physical installations during production.
