In October 2023, Kevin shared his plan to propose to Chloe during a trip to New York at an upscale karaoke bar in Flushing. To keep it a surprise, he secretly invited all her friends, disguising it as a birthday celebration for someone else, while he pretended to be at a separate dinner reservation.
The plan involved us all singing along to a specially edited version of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story”. Kevin's edit wove in intimate moments from their relationship, building up to that heart-stopping moment in the song when "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring." That's when Kevin made his grand entrance and popped the question.
The night brimmed with energy and one surprise after another as friends came from as far as California and Tokyo to celebrate this extraordinary moment.
